Thulite Rough from Norway - $28.00/lb

Thulite is the pink form of zoisite. Tanzanite is also in the zoisite familiy. Norwegian Thulite is a great stone if you want a pretty mottled pink. Thulite from eastern Washington has attractive light pink spots contrasting with black. We’ve found that Thulite polishes best with diamond. Thulite will also polish with tin oxide and green rouge (Zam), but does have the potential for some undercutting. Mohs hardness is 6 to 6.5.
