Kambaba Jasper Slabs from Madagascar
Kambaba Jasper slabs are slices of a green fossilized algae. It’s an orbicular stone of stromatolite fossil. This material is found in the South Africa Rift that runs from South Africa to Madagascar.
As with most jasper, it’s hard and takes an excellent polish with cerium or tin oxide.
