Wonderstone Rhyolite Slabs - from Nevada

Wonderstone slabs are a type of Rhyolite, a volcanic stone. In it’s magma form, it flows very slowly and creates colorful bands from the various minerals within it. Being mainly silica, it will take a beautiful, shiny polish with diamond, tin or cerium oxide. MOHs hardness is 6 to 7.
